Understanding ONE Error States
When the application fails with a specific error state, it does not necessarily mean that something is going wrong. The application might just need more time to process changes.
Here you can find a list of common error states and recommended actions you can take to solve some of the problems.
Restricted access
- Variations of the error message include

Access to this page is restricted. Ask your administrator to grant you permission to access the page.

You’re missing a role. Ask your administrator to assign you the necessary roles.

The user is missing the necessary role or permission to access the page or asset.
Updated metadata model
- Error message

The metadata model was updated. Reload the application to see the changes.
- Description

Multiple users are making major changes to the application simultaneously. When someone is configuring the application with new changes, all other users can use the application only in the read-only mode. If a user is trying to apply the changes while the application is in the read-only mode, it results in this error state.
We suggest refreshing the page in your browser. It might take up to five minutes for the application to start working again.
The changes made by a user in read-only mode are not saved.
Server isn’t available

This server isn’t ready yet due to maintenance processes. Try refreshing this page later.
- Description

The server is not ready yet. For example, this might happen after the application just recently started.
We suggest waiting a bit and refreshing the page in your browser. It might take up to 10 minutes for the application to start working again.
Authentication failed
- Error message

The application failed to authenticate the user. Refresh the page to try again.
- Description

There is a failure in communication with Keycloak and the application could not authorize the user successfully.
Something went wrong
Error message: An unknown error occurred. Try refreshing this page. Contact the admin if the issue persists.
