Lineage Permissions

This article describes the permissions you need to have in ONE to be able to complete certain actions on lineage.

View lineage diagram

You need to have View metadata access level assigned or higher.

Run the built-in scanner and import lineage

You must have one of the following access levels assigned:

  • Admin access

  • Editing access

  • Operate access

Required operations

For detailed access level control, use the following metadata model configuration.

  1. Go to Global settings > Metadata model.

    To access Global settings, select the Ataccama logo.

  2. Find and select the catalogConfiguration entity and switch to the Access Levels tab.

  3. Select View metadata access and then Edit.

  4. Under Lineage, select the following permission: Lineage: Verify Jwt Token For Lineage Permissions.

  5. Save your changes.

Run the built-in scanner and import lineage

The following permission must be assigned: Lineage: Request Lineage File Upload Link. You can follow the instructions described in the previous section.
