Understand DQ Evaluation Results
During DQ evaluation, each record is analyzed to see whether it meets the criteria of the DQ rules applied to it. The records that meet the criteria are counted as passed (valid), and records that do not are failed (invalid).
If you have thresholds configured, the overall result is compared against the threshold value. Results at or above the threshold are considered Valid. Results below it are flagged as Critical and trigger an alert automatically.

Where can I find DQ evaluation results
DQ evaluation results are shown in the DQ monitor, on the Data quality card and the Rules, Attributes, and Terms tabs. See DQ Monitors.
Overall data quality is the percentage of records that passed all the rules applied to the catalog item.
For the catalog items monitored using DQ dashboards, selected results are displayed on the DQ dashboard.
Results for a rule instance
A rule instance is a rule applied to a specific attribute. On the Rules, Attributes, or Terms tab, select a rule to open its sidebar:

Data Quality: Results for this rule instance, including how many records passed and failed, and why.

Configuration: Rule instance settings, including the rule instance name and input configuration.

Implementation: Rule logic, including the reasoning behind the explanations.
