RDM Change Log

The Change Log tab in the Navigation Panel serves to track all published changes made to the reference data.

  1. Define a filter:

    • From - Starting date of changes.

    • End - Ending date of changes.

    • Table - Limit results to one table or leave <any> to display results for all tables.

    • User - Limit results to one user or leave <any> to display results for all users.

    • Type - Select the action type or leave <any> to display results for all actions (Creation, Edit, Deletion).

  2. Select View. A new tab opens in the Viewing Panel displaying a table that lists all published changes in accordance with the defined filter.

  3. Select the Show details link of any entry to see the details of the change that was published.

  4. Optionally, you can export the records you are viewing for further auditing and analysis outside of RDM. To do this, select Export.

    This prepares and downloads a JSON file named changelog.json that contains the records matching your currently defined filters. The exported file holds all records that match the search criteria, up to the default limit of 10,000 records.

    If you select Export without any filters applied (that is, before you select View), the entire record changelog is exported. The same limit of 10,000 records applies.
