Collaboration and Version Control

When working on complex projects, people need to share files as they are used in different parts of the project.

All team members need to have an overview of what changes have been made, when and by whom, keep track of updates and recent changes, have the opportunity to back up older versions in case they have to go back to a previous state, and deploy the project on testing and production servers.
