Persistent Storage
When the engine starts for the first time, all database tables are created automatically. There are three types of tables:
-
Engine Tables (see Engine Tables). Definitions from the Model file are used to create the tables and columns (see Model). Internal Columns provide the description of internal database columns, including their corresponding names used in transition plans (see Internal Columns).
-
The structure is dependent on the Matching Key Table (see Matching Key Table). Structure is defined by the Matching step used in a match transformation plan.
-
History Tables (see History Tables). Definitions from
nme-history.xml
are used to create the tables and columns (see History Plugin, section Detailed Configuration of the History Model).
Type of persistent storage is defined in the MDM Configuration file as a Persistence Layer.
